DIFFERENT COLOR SCHEME

The color scheme is a collection of colors for designers and artists which can help to create and apply good color combinations to their design. Designers and artists can understand by the color wheel. This wheel is a combination of 12 colors. With these, we can make many colors by combining.

Basically, these colors make primary, secondary and tertiary. The primary colors are red, yellow, and blue. Secondary colors are three orange, purple, green. which are created by merging two primary colors and tertiary colors are six which are created by merging primary and secondary colors. 

The color wheel is divided into two warm and cool. All fashion designers analyze and make a perfect combination for the garment. white, black, and gray consider as neutral colors. In the color wheel, there is mainly six color scheme.

These are the color scheme that provides the concept of the colors wheel. All designers use these schemes for applying on garments. Color is an important element in fashion designing.

MONOCHROMATIC – Monochromatic color scheme is a collection of different tints, tones, and shades of a specific color. In monochromatic color scheme variation of one color by mixing white, black and gray.

Monochromatic colors are very harmonious and soothing for the eye because we see the same color with a different color tone. Hue is a pure color. mixing white and black colors in hue make different shades.

ANALOGOUS– In Analogous color scheme colors, their groups seem similar to one another because they are physically close in the color wheel. for example yellow, yellow-green, green. Analogous colors give harmony.

COMPLIMENTARY – In a complementary color scheme two colors are physically opposite to each other in the color wheel. They are extremely opposite but they complement each other.

The complementary color appears vibrant and attractive, red yellow. Complimentary colors are green and red, yellow-green, and red-violet.

SPLI-COMPLIMENTARY -In split complimentary is a combination of one primary color and two analogous colors to its compliment. They highly compliment. Split complementary colors are yellow-green, violet, red.

ACHROMATIC– Achromatic color scheme has no color means no hue. Achromatic color is black, white, and gray come in achromatic. Achromatic color gives sophistication. Polychromatic means multicolor together.

POLYCHROMATIC– Polychromatic means color together. It is a collection of primary and secondary colors. For this collection, you need to analyze which collection seems good together.

Pastel color and soft color

In pastel color, we can use a hue of any color and white. These colors are soft are pretty and delicate. It gives a look feminine. Those colors are soothing, calming, and beautiful. Mostly pastel color use in babies’ garments.

Earthy color

Earthy color is a warm and natural color such as brown, green, red, and orange. Basically, these colors are found on earth like rock, soil, trees, rust. Earthy color basically uses informal like office wear.

Cool color

Cool colors are natural look like tree green, blue-sky, white, and purple. It denotes sophistication and gives eye smoothness and cool. Basically Blue represents loyalty, truth, and stability. Green represents harmony and peace whereas violet represents creativity, royalty, power, and spirituality.

Ethnic color

Ethnic colors are red, orange, and yellow. Basically, these colors use especially in the wedding ceremony worn by the bride.

Romantic color

Romantic colors are pink, pastel pink, and red. It gives looks beautiful.

In the fashion area, designers consider skin color for deciding the colors of clothes it depends on skin color. Your body color and garment color should be inharmonious.
